Rajarshi Purkayastha, from Tata Communications – a global digital ecosystem enabler shared insights on how they are enabling faster digital transition for enterprises in 2020.
Wednesday, 22 July 2020: Co-powered by Tata Communications, Big CIO Show brought together India’s most-elite tech leaders in a virtual platform to discuss strategies post-Pandemic and insights on Business Continuity Plan. The online conference which virtually connected over 500 CIOs, featured Rajarshi Purkayastha, Head, Pre-Sales, India, MECAA and SAARC for Tata Communications as one of the top speakers among other global technology leaders.
Rajarshi who has more than 18 years of experience in technology and telecommunications and three patents pending for technologies involving drones, robotics and Internet connectivity, engaged the audience by sharing how Tata Communications is providing a secure and connected digital architecture for enterprises amidst the COVID-19 crisis.
“In terms of remote working and accessing cloud applications, security with performance becomes the biggest issue. We assessed the biggest challenges and use cases in this scenario and launched a Secure Connected Digital Workplace suite of offerings.” said Rajarshi, while sharing an example of a recent case study on enabling 18,000 associates of an IT major.
As he continued sharing a few more examples, he added how Tata Communications is helping more than 25,000 users to collaborate better and also working with multiple contact centre employees to enable them to work from home.
Rajarshi also shared his thoughts in a panel discussion on Driving Businesses to Revisit Digital Transformation along with other technology heads such as Dhananjaya Tambe, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Information Officer of State Bank of India; Vivek Ganesh, Regional Sales Director for SAP Concur and Sarath Chandra, CIO of Airtel Payments Bank; to name a few.
