Nordic APIs, an international community of API practitioners and enthusiasts, has announced the 2023 dates of their flagship conference – the Platform Summit. The event takes place in Stockholm on October 16-18 and gathers API experts and tech industry leaders to discuss how to build success in the API ecosystem.
“The Platform Summit has always provided great knowledge-building and networking experiences for all involved,” says Bill Doerrfeld, Editor in Chief of Nordic APIs. “I love making connections at the Summit and discovering the fascinating new ways in which this technology is being applied.”
This year’s Summit will gather thought leaders from the diverse international API economy, sharing knowledge on API design standards, emerging technology and API security best practices. Among the first speakers announced are ngrok’s Keith Casey, Amazon’s Richard Jones, APIMatic’s Sidney Maestre, Zuplo’s CEO Josh Twist, Curity’s CTO Jacob Ideskog, and other API experts. Some of the topics that will be covered include best practices for API adoption, how to evolve your APIs, building an API-first company, and more.
“After a hiatus due to the pandemic, our community is super excited to return for in-person events. We’ve been sharing API-related insights online for years and growing our community in the process. Now, taking the conversation back to a physical event is essential to help fill the gaps we can’t always spot on the blog,” Doerrfeld explains.
